Darren Beachley, a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist formerly with Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, brings his newest band and some new tunes and a fresh vibe, creating a cool hybrid of acoustic grass. Since disbanding The Legends of the Potomac last November, Darren has brought together a group of fine musicians to create the new band, HeartTown, adding Greg Luck (formerly of 3TymeOut, Bluegrass Cardinals and Lost and Found) on fiddle and vocals. When Hearttown was formed, bluegrass was introduced to a “mega merger” of veteran musicians. Quickly becoming known for their high energy, superb musicianship and soaring tight harmonies, Hearttown emerged with a very successful debut year! This band promises to bring Bluegrass fans to their feet!.
