Daniel Champagne

The story goes that the young Australian singer, songwriter and one-of-a-kind guitar virtuoso first picked up his instrument of choice as a five-year-old following in the footsteps of a musical father. He began writing songs at 12, training classically throughout his teens and performing solo wherever he could, honing his craft and developing what would become the dynamite live show that he is renowned for today. At 18 he left school, turned professional and hit the road.

The next several years saw him traversing North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, New Zealand and of course, his homeland Australia playing such festivals as California WorldFest, Winnipeg Folk Fest, Vancouver and Mariposa Folk (Canada), Belgium’s Labadoux Festival and Australia’s Woodford, Falls Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival and the legendary Byron Bay Bluesfest. He has toured and shared stages with Jake Shimabukuro, Jesse Cook, Roderigo Y Gabriela, Richard Shindell, The Ragbirds, The Waifs, Lucinda Williams, Judy Collins, INXS, John Butler, KT Tunstall and Ani DiFranco.

Hussy Hicks

Since forming in 2006, Julz Parker and Leesa Gentz have forged their own, very unique way into the global music scene. Fearlessly independent, the genre defying Hussy Hicks have followed a trail of possibilities, random twists and turns and discovered a musical world all of their own. Their influences are drawn from family record collections of old skool blues and country, and from their travels, combining a distinctly australian roots edge with european gypsy guitar, arabic rhythms and optimistic social commentaries.

Julz is regarded as one of her country’s finest guitarists and has traded licks with everyone from street performers to Phil and Tommy Emmanuel, John Jorgenson, Lulo Reinhardt and Joe Robinson.

Leesa is most recognised for her soaring vocals and joyful, endearing stage presence and she has been steadily earning respect as one of the most captivating vocalists in her field.

The Hussies have been welcomed with honorary memberships into blues, folk, country and jazz circles, spreading their good vibes across festival stages and venues throughout Europe, America and Australia, with the single goal of playing music for the absolute joy of it.

Christie Lenée

Her unique guitar work is often compared to visionaries like Michael Hedges, Joni Mitchell and Dave Matthews- fusing folky/funky playfulness with pop/rock inspired songs and virtuosic guitar compositions. She is, as Skope Magazine states, “a refreshing burst of unrestrained love and feeling… It’s simply a joy to listen to her spirit break free.”

Christie has been seen many times on stage with Tim Reynolds (guitarist for Dave Matthews Band) and a stellar cast of musicians including Amy Ray (Indigo Girls), Jeff Coffin, and Stanley Jordan. Her compositions have been showcased at the NAMM Show in Anaheim and Nashville, live on National Television and Radio, plus various festivals and venue performances across the US, Canada and Taiwan.

Christie’s most recent album “Live at Hideaway Cafe” was a Finalist for “Best CD of 2014” for the Indie Acoustic Project Awards and received raving reviews by music fans across the country. The album created a compelling sonic journey through mountains of dynamics, harmonic textures, upbeat grooves and consciously uplifting lyrics. Her song “Love Who You Are” from this album was nominated for a 2016 Posi Award in the category “Songs for Personal Transformation.”
