Damian Allen is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and recording artist from Richmond, Virginia. As the frontman and lyricist/composer of hard rock bands DNA and Faultline, Allen’s impact has been felt in Richmond and beyond. After sharing stages in Faultline with national artists like Halestorm, Nonpoint, Apocalyptica, and All That Remains, and a 2012 U.S. tour with national recording artist Orgy, Allen went on to record his first solo hard rock album as DNA’s composer/front man, also serving as vocalist/guitarist for several other projects. Since 2013, Allen has open for national artists Fuel, Taproot, Red Line Chemistry and Corrosion of Conformity in the band arena, and in the past three years, has shared venues as a solo performer with renown acts the likes of Lou Gramm (Grammy-winning vocalist of Hall of Famers Foreigner), the Doobie Brothers, Blues Traveler, and many more.
While working on new solo material, Allen can currently be found doing regional dates in his Alice in Chains tribute act, Layne’s Chains, and will be doing a small, regional solo tour, performing an array of music that has influenced his career as a writer musician, as well as a few from his own catalog – be sure to catch one of these intimate and inspired performances spring/summer 2016!
