From writing hits for other artists to recording her own, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Nashville based singer-songwriter has truly embraced musical diversity.  She teaches songwriting workshops focusing on the magic of creativity, which she believes is a birthright of everyone. Beth’s passion, when you get right down to it is still ‘the song’.  She has penned numerous hits and written songs for many top artists including Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Bette Midler, Elton John, Neil Diamond, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Michael McDonald, Amy Grant, Keb Mo’, Roberta Flack, Faith Hill, Willie Nelson, and Waylon Jennings. She has received numerous awards including a Grammy nomination and ASCAP’s Song of the Year for Faith Hill’s version of This Kiss.

Paul Reisler has been performing and writing for over 35 years.  As founder  of Trapezoid as well his current group, Paul Reisler & A Thousand Questions featuring Howard Levy, he has performed in close to 3,000 concerts worldwide. He is also the founder and director of Kid Pan Alley where he has written close to 2,000 songs with over 30,000 children nationally. He’s one of the most popular songwriting teachers in North America and has taught at workshops and songwriting schools including Rocky Mountain Song School, Utah Song School, Swannanoa Gathering, Augusta Workshop, Hollyhock, Kerrville, Nashville Songwriters Association, Omega Institute, Puget Sound Guitar Workshop, and many others. His Aesop’s Fables for Orchestra and Narrator written with Tom Paxton and Art Wheeler premiered last year. He’s currently writing a Kid Pan Alley musical.

      I have seen Beth 3 times and she not only is an outstanding writer of songs but also has a beautiful voice. Believe me you will not be disappointed with her performance.

    I will echo Wayne’s remarks. I have seen her 3 times previously and her voice and lyrics are second to none. Cannot wait until Saturday night. It’s been so long since she’s been close to Virginia.
