Multi-instrumentalist Bill Gurley along with singer-songwriter Mary Lou Osterhous lead Acoustic Image. They perform Richmond-based players Trey Pollard on guitar and pedal steel and Wells Hanley playing piano and drums, and Jimmy Masters on acoustic bass. This band creates its own special brand of acoustic music, infused by the influences of country, contemporary singer-songwriter acoustic music, bluegrass, as well as jazz. With the varied backgrounds of the players involved it creates a wonderful amalgam of sounds and textures. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 day of show

Working outside the pop music radar, Eaglesmith has forged one of the most unique and eminent careers in contemporary music. His previous 16 releases have won him comparisons to such major talents as Woody Guthrie, Bruce Springsteen, John Prine, T Bone Burnett and Steve Earle.
