Richard Leigh has been writing songs since he was ten years old, and professionally since he was twenty-three.  His first break came in 1976 when Crystal Gayle released “I’ll Get Over You,” and took it to #1 on  Billboard’s Country Chart. This was made all the sweeter when “I’ll Get Over You” garnered Leigh his first of now seven Song of the Year nominations, this one from the Country Music Association (CMA). Acoustic Image

 The ensemble Acoustic Image is made up of five talented musicians who perform tunes ranging from country, bluegrass, pop and jazz. Multi-instrumentalist Bill Gurley along with singer-songwriter Mary Lou Osterhous lead Acoustic Image. They perform Richmond-based players Trey Pollard on guitar and pedal steel and Wells Hanley playing piano and drums, and Jimmy Masters on acoustic bass. This band creates its own special brand of acoustic music, infused by the influences of country, contemporary singer-songwriter acoustic music, bluegrass, as well as jazz. With the varied backgrounds of the players involved it creates a wonderful amalgam of sounds and textures. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 day of show

Bequiler is the new cd, produced by Will Kimbrough and Angela was just named a 2011 Telluride Troubadour Finalist! She was raised in the South Carolina foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Much of her childhood was spent on the Greer, SC farm that has been in her family since 1791, seven generations.
