His recordings span multiple genres: folk, rock, country, alt-country, and indie music all being represented in his repertoire. His songwriting talents have been adopted by many touring and recording artists, most notably Todd Snider, with whom Womack shares a long-standing friendship and affiliation, often touring with Snider’s band. Another notable singer/songwriter with whom Womack has recorded and performed is Will Kimbrough – together with Paul Griffith, they make up the band, Daddy.
